Yes, we've released a beta version of DigiStore for Joomla 2.5 on May 11th, 2012. This version is well tested but some bugs can still be found. Modules aren't available yet, but will be soon.

No! All you need is an e-mail address so you can receive PayPal payments. You don't even need a PayPal account until people start paying. Just enter your e-mail address and when you make your first sale, you'll get an e-mail from PayPal telling you that you've got money and asking you to open an account.

There are two ways to upload your products to the store:

1. Browse for the product on your computer and upload it by clicking the Upload button. This method has a size limit that depends on your server's settings. In general, it's only used for relatively small files.
2. Upload with FTP to the media directory. You can upload very large files this way, including MP3 files.

We designed iJoomla DigiStore to be as simple as possible. We want you to start making money now, not in a week or two, after you've read the manual and understand all the features. That's why DigiStore has everything you need to set up an online store and nothing you don't need.

You won't find a huge list of sophisticated features you'll never use on iJoomla DigiStore - just the REALLY important features. However, if you find that a feature you need is missing, please suggest it. If it makes sense and other people suggest it, we'll see if we can add it to future releases.

Yes, you can. However, the shipping features are limited and basic. 

• There's no live shipping calculation.
• No fields to enter product size and weight.

You are able to set a fixed shipping price for buyers from the same state, country or a different country.

If you decide to use iJoomla DigiStore for selling shippable products, DigiStore makes calculating and charging shipping simple. You can set shipping charges as a flat or variable rate, each determined by the purchase price and the customer's location. And with built-in links to USPS, UPS and FedEx shipping calculators, you'll be able to quickly determine accurate rates.

Maybe you shouldn't. We recommend that you give VirtueMart a try. If you can make it work, great! Frankly, we've tried it and found that it's like trying to drive a 10-ton semi when all you really need is a good bicycle. It's too clumsy, too difficult and far too time-consuming.

• Log into your PayPal account.
• Click on the Profile link
• Click on the Instant Payment Notifications link.
• Click on the Edit button and select the Enable radio button.
• In the box, enter the IPN URL to your Digi Store.
